Throw back of Tim and Bill waiting for Aubrey's date to come. I wish they would have had some shot guns when he arrived! That would have been awesome! Sunday we hear from Tim!!!!

Mom,
Well mom this week was pretty good and we worked super hard. There was one day when we literally had no lessons until 830 at night. So that day we knocked doors for about six hours. The worst part too is that in the morning we had gone on a super hard run so by the end of the day I fell down dead. Ive never been so tired in my life jaja. I guess thats how the mission goes though. Also this week we went with the missionaries from the MTC to proselyte with them. I thought about how short time ago I was in their shoes jaja. So that was a cool experience.

Also this week I learned about dillegence. As I had told you we had one day with almost no lessons and most days we didnt have many. By sunday we had knocked about a thousand doors and we only had one new investigator. Nobody wanted to hear us. By sunday we were worn out and tired especially because we had just finished fasting. Church ended at 5 so we only had about three and a half hours to work. So we started contacting and tracting again. In those hours we found 6 new investigators. That was amazing to me how the Lord tested us. We worked all week really hard and we didn't see any fruits until sunday night. That made me think what would have happened if we just said whatever and took the last part of the day lightly. We would not have seen the Lords hand in the work and we would not have found the people we found.

So that was a cool experience that we had this week.
Well it is awesome to hear that everyone is doing so good. It also sounds like my sports team is killing it. Let me know how life is and know that I am doing amazing. Life is great here in Surco and I am enjoying my fridge, microwave and hot water. I might never have those things again for the rest of my mission.

So tell the fam I love them and talk to you soon!!

Mom,
Well this week has been pretty good and it was fun. I got my new companion and it is Elder Christensen from Vernal Utah. I was super excited because he is from my same group. We were in the MTC together and we also started together in Vitarte. So I had already known him pretty well and we are excited to get to work here. This past week was pretty good. We talked to a ton of people. We are contacting a lot more and a lot more people are listening. Maybe its because theyre curious to know what two tall gringos are doing in Peru, but whatever it works. It was cool too because the first door that Elder Christensen knocked here we found a family of 7. Only 3 were there, but it was still a family of 7 so that was exciting.  He  must be super close to the Spirit. So that was a cool experience that happened this week.

Well all is pretty normal here in Vista Alegre and I am pretty happy to continue working. It feels like we have a little momentum and hopefully we can keep it up and continue finding. Also hopefully we can keep our Spanish up! So that is how life is right now and I am having a good time here in Surco. Time is flying by.  I remember when  I came here in Vitarte and now all my roommates from there are home. Also the people a year older than me are starting to finish. That is crazy . So that is how life is here in the mission , and I guess  Im not new anymore jaja.
