Today Kirsten has not stopped crying! I have had it!!!! As any respectable parent does I finally resorted to yelling, screaming and stomping my feet. When that did not work, I sat her on my lap and asked her all the standard questions.
Mom: "Are you hungry?"
Kirsten: "No!"
Mom: "Are you thirsty?"
Kirsten: "No!"
Mom: "Are you bored?"
Kirsten: "No!"
Mom: "Are you sick honey?"
Kirsten: "Yes!" (CRY CRY CRY CRY ect.)"Take me to the Doctooooor!!" (CRY, CRY, CRY)
Mom: "Where are you sick? Your tummy?"
Kirsten: "No!"
Mom: " Head?"
Kirsten: No!"
Mom: Teeth?"
Kirsten: "No!"
Mom: " Then where are you sick baby?"
Kirsten: "I am sick of Mommy!!!!" ( CRY, CRY, CRY)
Mom: (LAUGH, LAUGH, LAUGH!)
Kirsten: Take me to the Doctor! (CRY, CRY CRY!) "I am sick of Mommy, take me to the dooooooctoooor!" (CRY, CRY, CRY)
These are the joys of parenting in your 40's. I cannot stop laughing now!
